Is it enough to say Jesus loves you?

This rhetorical question is more so for the “seasoned christians”, more so for the ones that have been walking in the faith for a while. Those new to the faith look to you for advice, they look up to you not because you know it all- we will never, but simply because you’ve been doing this longer and for the ones that don’t know Jesus at all, well, they're watching your every move…So, that being said…

Is it enough to say “Jesus loves you” ?

Is it true?

Even more than we can fathom.

Is it necessary?

Extremely.

But, is it enough?

Is it enough to only say Jesus loves you and then keep it moving feeling as if we have done a good work, as if we have accomplished the goal? When end time prophecies are being fulfilled right before our eyes? When the final book of the breathed out word of God is playing out in front of us? When people are creating their own distorted, twisted, self-serving religions and actually believing they’re going to make it to heaven? Or worse believing everyone will?

2 Timothy 4:3

Is it enough when lies are being called truth and truth called lies?

Does God love you?

Even more than we can wrap our brain around. So much that He gave his only son, Jesus up to death for us. So much that the son laid down His life for us even while knowing the horrible things we would do.

So much that Jesus went through the ultimate humiliation on a cross that should have been our death as He was hung there naked, while being put through the utmost excruciating pain and mutilation when He could have called legions of angels with one word and stopped it all.  He could have spoken one word and came down, returning all back on the persecutors but, if He did, you and I couldn’t be saved. Someone had to take the fall.

Jesus loves us so much that He allowed His own creation to mock Him, spit on Him, and completely torture Him, ripping His flesh to the point of unrecognition, all so we could be saved from eternal condemnation. All so we could be saved and seated with Him one day. All so He could pay the price for sin, that we didn’t have to. He took on our sin even though He knew none.

He took it all, He paid the price, He accepted torture, death, the grave and hell - so we didn’t have to.

The son of God went to Hell for you, He defeated the enemy for you.

And when He finished doing that? Once He took back the keys and defeated death, hell and the grave?

Well that’s when the one, true, living God did only what He can do…

He raised Christ from the dead, He brought him back to life yet again proving His power and love for us.

Jesus was risen from the dead just days after the crucifixion, revealed himself alive and fully restored to His followers, magnificent in restoration with only leaving holes in his hands and feet and told them to share the good news, giving them a gift along with the ultimate helper - things that can be found nowhere else but through and from Him…

A gift that can’t be bought. A gift that requires no payment because, remember? He paid it all.

He gave them the gift of salvation and the Helper - The spirit of truth, The Holy spirit - to be with them always. To speak to them, to comfort them, to lead and guide them through every high and every low.

And in case you didn’t know these things are for us also…all of us. It didn’t stop with His disciples, it only started with them!

Being saved by Jesus Christ, the way, the truth and the life isn’t for those without any wrongs.

John 14:6

We all fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

It isn’t for those who have it “all together” - nobody truly does.

It isn’t for the picture perfect. He was and is and will forever be the only perfect thing.

It is for all.

We live in a fallen world and although each may look a little different, we all have brokenness. He is the only one who can truly heal us. He is Jehova Rapha, our healer.

Salvation was made possible by the only savior, for all who call upon Him.

Romans 10:13

John 14:6

2 Peter 3:9

Pride will try and get in the way and for some it will get in the way.

Proverbs 16:18

The world will tell you you’re crazy and eventually they will hate you. (sound familiar?)

Take a look around, Christians aren’t exactly being accepted everywhere to say the least…our brothers and sisters in Christ are being beheaded, tortured and murdered more and more every day…even more so as the day of His return gets closer. He told us it would happen.

John 15:18-25

Matthew 10:28

“But, small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”

Mathew 7:14

James 1: 2-4

The supernatural peace and love that comes with all of this though…it’s hard to explain …like one of those things you just have to find out for yourself. The literal meaning of “ there’s nothing else like it” …To be in His presence….is like nothing ever experienced before and nothing can compare. My mind can’t produce the vocabulary to explain it (and yours won't be able to either).

Jesus loves you and He died so that you could live abundantly and victoriously.

So that you can rise with Him when the trumpet sounds.

So that you can escape an eternal Hell of fire where the presence of God and all things good do not exist.

How do you do this?

How do you know for sure where you are going?

How do you receive the gift of salvation and have the Holy Spirit with you always?

God’s word tells us in Romans 10:9 that “if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”.

John 11:25-26

John 3:16

Matthew 3:2

Matthew 4:17

Mark 1:15

Repent. Confess. Believe. Ask Holy Spirit to come in and fill every dry space.

So, in 2026, is it enough to simply say Jesus loves you?

Or do you think giving a little more to the story is necessary for a generation that's been so pressed and conflicted by confusion, pain, anxiety and lies that even their actions are an obvious sign of crying out for help?

They’ve been fed so much crap they don’t know where to turn and when they do turn to the branded Christian all they’re hearing is “God is love”, getting a band aid, a feel good moment and sent right back on the same path because no one is giving them the truth that goes along with it!

God is LOVE but, they need to know what that love means, they need to know how He loves them, they need to know what He has done for them, they need to know how to break free from the chains that are enslaving them. Satan knows Jesus loves you and he does not care one bit about the christian who checks off their good deed of the day making that statement and moving on with life and living it however they see fit, in fact he loves it because nothing truly happens.

Will you have the courage to shine His light? Do you have His light in you to shine?

Maybe give a little more to why He loves you…maybe go even further and allow His love to truly flow through you…maybe let your actions speak louder than your words altogether? Maybe just maybe invite the Holy Spirit to come and flow through you and do what only He can do.

Is it enough to simply say Jesus loves you?

What do you think?

The 2nd coming is imminent.

Matthew 24:44

Just showing up to a building with a steeple doesn’t cut it anymore. Just saying you believe in God does nothing- satan believes in God and satan shows up to church every single sunday. I’m just saying! I was there at one point too - I played the part with nothing truly inside but, He never stopped chasing me down and it took me hitting rock bottom to finally get it- I wouldn’t advise getting there that way when there’s other routes but, whatever it takes! These conversations aren’t the popular ones, they may not be the conversations that get the likes or the traffic but, they’re the ones that truly matter and the ones that God will use if you allow Him, if you step out and say yes to the more, God will use it in ways you would never imagine.

Matthew 7:15-20

Revelation 3:16

Will you do and say the hard things?

Are you ready?

Get to know Him.

Matthew 25:46

Revelation 21:8

John 3:18

2 Thessalonians 1:9

Love y'all,

Taylor
