What a day it will be.
Been a few weeks since writing anything and to a writer, someone who loves to do so, it feels like a drought…like a parched mouth that can’t quite reach the glass of water.
I’ve walked through a few battles behind the scenes, had to get back to it, a readjustment and re-alignment you might say. Adjusting the focus back off of the nonsense and back on to the maker with eyes transfixed on the King of Kings.
This word will ruffle some feathers- there’s no might about it, it will.
But, like I just told my friend the other night, if everyone likes you, you ain’t doing it right.
We’re called to be salt and light and, specifically, He has called me to speak His truth and to Him and Him alone is my allegiance.
Do you know that we are hated by a real enemy?
It’s not a joke, satan is real. No matter how much he would like for you, and I believe he is not so that his scheme of being just a cartoon character in a red cape and horns can continue to play out while we stay oblivious, celebrating his self-ordained holiday and using our children as pawns to his game as we laugh and say how fun it is to allow fear to grip our children.
He wants nothing more than for us to decorate our homes in death, gore and massacres of life, buy a scary costume and come into agreement with him, while we unknowingly invite darkness to enter by doing so. Staying under the radar and keeping us asleep within his great deception as he carries out his plans throughout our life is exactly what he hopes for.
It’s not something to take lightly and it’s not something that can just be ignored, at least not forever. Mark these words, write them down or even better look them up yourselves, eventually- all will be revealed along with every knee bowing and every tongue confessing.
Philippians 2:10-11, Isaiah 45:23, Romans 14:11
Having an enemy who hates us is not something to fear by any means- if you know Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord!
“Finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven” Luke 10:19-20
Joshua 1:9, Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 56:3-4, Psalm 23:4
Do you know that he hates women specifically?- because it’s women who can reproduce.
Why do you think women- conception - family - our children - have been attacked at every angle and placed at the forefront of complete disarray?
With all that has been going on lately and in the last 60 years or so specifically, I encourage you to truly unpack this question, the severity of it and what it entails for a moment.
Because it’s a woman who was used by the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit to birth Jesus Christ- the only savior of mankind. The only one who could and can save us, the only one with the power to do so. A child who was birthed by a woman through power only God can give, to save us and in time utterly destroy him and his fallen comrades.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
That’s the root of it, and the fact that we can reproduce while he can’t fuels it even more. He wants to be God in every way no matter the cost- it’s what got him kicked out in the first place.
And do you know who else is really hated?
Believers on fire for Jesus.
Those believers who share the gospel, speak the chain-breaking, soul-saving name of Jesus without reproach, leading and pointing others to Jesus and freedom only He can give!
Those believers who aren’t afraid and know the power of the blood of Jesus Christ that saved them, covers them and goes before them.
So, to my fellow believers who feel this in their bones, who know this is for you because you are in the good fight. I’m speaking to those fellow believers who aren't ashamed of the one true living God, who won’t back down, who refuse to fall in line and keep quiet, refuse to allow fear to grip them- hear me- you are NOT alone. Call on that name, Yeshua, ask Him to go before you- front and rear guard and lay your burdens, baggage, and weariness at His feet.
Remember your armour and continue to use it.
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up your shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:13-18
He will take it all but we have to let go of it first.
By holding onto it we’re saying we can do it, we can handle it better– we CAN’T and that’s okay, we’re not supposed to!
It's in our weakness that His might and strength is displayed, giving Him all glory.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
It’s why he came, to save us and take it for us!
To the believers who read this and think, ‘I don’t know what she’s talking about, what fight? She sure is extreme! What’s wrong with this girl?
She’s a little out there, taking it a little too seriously”...I’m glad you call yourself a believer but, you’re missing it.
If you have zero clue what I am talking about, you should check your allegiance. If you think being a believer is just a title to be worn, a group to be associated with, or a box to check once a week on Sunday mornings, you’re missing it!
Why do you not know what the good fight is?
Why are you completely oblivious to what this means?
Because the enemy is not worried about you. If you’re not spreading the gospel, if you’re not sharing the love of Christ to others in how you live your life- he doesn’t care, there’s no impact there, there’s no halting of his plans because you’re not doing anything!
Asleep is how the enemy wants the church.
Because if we’re asleep- we’re of no disruption to his plans.
Go to church on Sundays, clap for what makes you feel good, sing a song out of obligation, be offended when service cuts into your lunch plans and makes you miss part of a game. Show up and sit for a couple hours once a week then leave and live like hell the rest of the week, it’s fine your box was checked. For those who don’t go at all, who don’t even care- you’re not even on the radar, he knows you’re no threat but, trust me that’s not a good thing.
And hey! Who am I, right?? Who am I to talk like this, what gives me the right?!
I’ll be the first to tell you- I’m a nobody, man!! I’m nobody but a daughter of the one true king of kings! On fire for Christ- who has done all of those things listed above. I've checked the box, I've lived like hell, I've done some horrible things actually, things that kept me in bondage for years- but that’s for a different book. I went out of obligation and even sometimes because I was forced to. So… yeah, I’ve been on both sides of this thing and because of that, I got nothing but truth for you.
The enemy is already defeated, Christ already did that on the cross when He died brutally for our sin and conquered death, hell and the grave as He rose back to life and took the keys back.
But, that doesn’t mean we get to sit back, boast and pridefully think we got it made. Lives and souls are at stake.
The good fight is real. If you ain’t in it, you ain’t with it!!
Let me rephrase that and get out of the southern lingo that just took over for a moment, if this is how you are living your life as a “believer” - honey, the enemy is a believer - he is a big believer so much that he knows the word front and back and will use anything he can to lull you to sleep even through the twisting of the word, having no fight, thinking you got it made in the shade just enough to pull you astray and not only that, others with you! Because like it or not- you claim to be a believer and even more boldly say you’re a follower of Christ- all eyes are on you-so for your sake and others, you better wake up.
This isn’t about us!
PRAISE GOD we can be saved, healed, delivered and set free!
PRAISE GOD He did it because we couldn’t.
It’s about HIM.
It’s about staying awake and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, removing ourselves from the temptations of darkness and being aware of the tactics of the enemy. It’s about using our armor and ensuring our allegiance is to Christ and Christ alone.
Deception is at an all time high. If you’re not locked in to the King, you’ll be led astray.
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24
Humble yourselves, get on your face and cry out to the only God mighty to save.
Like I mentioned at the beginning, I had to get back in alignment, readjust my focus, that’s what we all as believers and followers of Christ have to do!
None of us, no matter who you are or what ministry you may have, will ever get it right all the time. Ever!!
We will always need Jesus and His word to get us back on track, fix our gaze and help us stay on the path. Psalm 23:3, Proverbs 4:18
That’s not something to be ashamed of or hide, share these things with others to encourage. Hebrews 3:13
It’s just another reason why He came and gave his life for us.
He is the only way we can make it and not only make it, the only way we can live life abundantly even in the midst of trials that come our way!
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
….you know I love the next verse, many stop at 10:10 but, 10:11…”I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11

Yes, this started by addressing the truth that we have an enemy.
We do and he’s real!
But, you know what else we have?
We have a MIGHTY God - mighty to save- who has never lost a battle and never will - He can’t! HA! He is THE Almighty.
The One, true, living God and if you know Him, not of Him, KNOW him…you have nothing to fear. Failing is the one thing that is impossible for Him.
Our victor has already defeated our enemy.
Read that again.
Okay, I’ll say it again too, OUR VICTOR HAS ALREADY DEFEATED OUR ENEMY.
The one true living God is just that gracious, compassionate, and loving that he has given time for repentance. Isaiah 55:6-9
Stand strong in your faith.
Stand strong in our GOD.
Stand strong in HIS might.
Stand strong on HIS word.
The battle has been won, we are just called to endure by learning to use our armor, casting our cares on our savior, allowing him to take all our burdens, releasing all our weights of heaviness on Him.
Is it easier said than done? Yes it is, because we tend to make things much harder than they are- that’s the flesh but, if we stay steadfast, always in repentance, remembering these things and knowing we’re not in this alone, the abundant life kicks in and grace abounds.
The grand finale, the showcase, will come for all to see and all knees will bow and every tongue will confess- yeah, even those who are against Him.
Find your people.
Those that will encourage you, uplift you and most importantly point you to Christ.
Maybe you’re reading this and you say, I don’t have any one who will do that- yes, you do- you have at least one- I’m your people. All you gotta do is reach out- send me a message.
In the meantime- clear out the clutter and disassociate from the wolves. Ignore the noise, and seek the Lord asking Him to remove the ploys, reveal the tactics, expose the plans and cleanse your battlefield.
What a day it will be. Are you awake? Are you ready?
